Royal Agricultural Winter Fair 2019
We took 3 animals to the Royal this year; BPL Fantastic 5F (who we sold at the Autumn Prestige Sale to Dave Cockburn in Iroquois Falls), BPL Fav Star (Jenna Wight's 4-H project), and BPL Gorgeous 14G. We sold "Gorgeous" in the National Charolais Sale to Fundy Charolais and the Dixons in Nova Scotia. BPL Gorgeous 3G came from an embryo breeding of Pleasant Dawn Maggie x Milestone, of which we had many more embryos. We offered up this pairing in an embryo package as well, and sold them to Saskatchewan.
New Liskeard Fall Fair 2019
Potter Charolais took home Reserve Champion Market Animal at the 2019 New Liskeard Fall Fair Market Beef Show & Sale. We also took home Supreme Champion male for the third year in a row, winning with PGMC Great Expectations 1G. Emily is a co-leader for the local 4-H beef club and they had their acheivement day at the New Liskeard Fall Fair. 3 members competed with animals from Potter Charolais, including Eva Palangio with BPL Gorgeous 14G, Madison Potter with BPL Glitter 3G, and Jenna Wight with BPL Fav Star.
